May 1, 2004--South Carolina Traveler, Editor, Carole Lee, carhartt coats, Hinten has presented Richard Hahn, Tournament Director for Battling Bass, Maxwell's Lures & Missile Bug Fishing Lure Co. lures to be given at the Battling Bass Tournament sponsored by Summerville Marine on May 1st, Short Stay, Lake Moultrie, South Carolina.

Maxwell's Lures, carhartt coats, David Maxwell of Stedman, North Carolina has new designs. His latest hand made top water lures feature reverse barbs, a new type of hook is made by VMC and a new finish.

Black Tiger:

"These are sharper than hooks made by Eagle Claw but the cost is, carhartt coats, about 3.5 times as the Eagle Claw," says Maxwell, "The different design should be greater hooking power than the Eagle Claw. I like the VMC hooks, carhartt coats, because they are sharper as Galmakatsu and are stronger.

Minnow:

Every one that has bought some lures from me in the past month said they like the look of these hooks. I had a, carhartt coats, fisherman buy several lures from me last week. He said the lures and set up was much better than any other lure he was using. The fishermen that has bought some, carhartt coats, lures this year has been well satisfied with my lures.

Injury Minnow:

I am putting 4 coats of solid paint on each and the design paint on top and then the clear coat on top. Every, carhartt coats, one likes the clear coat I am using. I think it is the best clear coat I have used. I am in the process of making a small lure that looks like a shad. It is set up like the injury minnow but is smaller, carhartt coats, in size with 2 hooks with no spinners. I have already tested it some."

James Hall, of Hartsville, South Carolina, has invented The Missile Bug Lure, Missile Bug Jig, and Missile Bug Frog.

Missile Bug Fishing Lures:

Missile Bug Fishing Lures have the hook concealed inside making this revolutionary lure truly weed less giving you less hangs, less aggravation, less stress and more pleasure in catching the big bass, brim and all other types of top water striking fish that like to take cover in lily pads and other heavy cover.

Reports from local fisherman tells of 12 lb bass being caught on the lower lake in the shallows and up in the creeks. With the warming water temperature they've moved off the beds.

This mornings breezes are cooler with white caps on Lake Marion.

Good fishin' to all~ See ya on the lake.
